Toner should be used after cleansing the skin and before applying serums, moisturiser or other treatments. It is designed to balance the skin's pH level, remove any remaining traces of dirt or makeup, and provide additional hydration and nourishment to the skin.

Frequency of use: Start by using two times per week, spaced apart. Overtime, gradually build up usage. Once your skin has become used to the product, you can gradually build up usage to every other day. For oily/acne-prone skin types, assess how your skin responds and gradually increase usage to once daily. If your skin feels dry or sensitive, reduce frequency.

1. Cleansing the skin: Before applying toner, it is important to cleanse your face thoroughly using a cleanser suited for your skin type. This helps remove impurities, excess oil, and makeup from the skin.

2. Preparing a cotton pad: Take a clean cotton pad and pour a small amount of toner onto it. Using a toner with a cotton pad allows for even distribution and efficient application. The toner helps prepare the skin for the subsequent skincare products, enabling better absorption and maximising their benefits.

3. Applying the toner: Gently swipe the cotton pad across your face, avoiding the eye area. Start from the centre of your face and move outwards in gentle, upward motions. Pay attention to areas that are prone to oiliness or congestion, such as the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin).

4. Targeting specific areas: If you have specific concerns, you can concentrate the toner application on those areas. For example, if you have enlarged pores or acne-prone skin, you can focus on the areas where you experience these issues.

5. Allow absorption: After applying the toner, allow it to absorb into your skin for a few moments. This usually takes about 30 seconds to a minute. Avoid rubbing or rinsing off the toner, as it is meant to be left on the skin.

6. Follow with the rest of your skincare routine: Once the toner has absorbed, continue with the rest of your skincare routine, such as applying serums, moisturisers, and sunscreen.
